PIERCE ELDRIDGE
Pierce Eldridge (they/them) is a curator, dramaturg and writer based in London, originally from Meanjin (Brisbane) of so-called Australia. They have been involved in various projects for Camden Art Centre, El Warcha, Studio Scilicet with artist Sougwen Chung, Studio Wayne McGregor, Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), Darwin Festival, Supercell Festival at the Home of the Arts, Bleach Festival, NextDoor ARI, Modern Times, Worms Magazine, MAP Magazine, Fortified Journal, Gillian Jason Gallery, Antiuniversity Now, and Pop Up North Queensland Festival. They are a Distinction graduate of MA Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art, London.
Their practice is deeply rooted in an entangled existence with ecological systems and the knowledges they hold, produce, and share. My curatorial interests evoke a sense of reciprocity, kinship, non-dualism, care, and community – an embodied exploration of new ways of collaborating and new ways to approach and ‘be with’ curatorship and dramaturgy.
